EXCURSIONS BY HODGES BAY HOUSE

Choose as many or as little excursions as you would like. We can then advise as to the best days to do each excursion. For example: you want to avoid the cruise ship crowds for Water Fall, tubing or Hot Springs days … weather will also need to be taken into consideration, we can best advise on those days.

If there are any points of interest you or your group wish to experience, not listed, please advise and we can customize any excursion.

Keeping in mind :

Dominica may be a small island, but travel times through the mountains can eat up a lot of your day.

If you don’t already have the app :WhatsApp, download it before you arrive on Dominica. This is the preferred method of communication on the island.

Here on Dominica there are: no poisonous animals or insects, or dangerous fresh water critters. Kinda makes life a lot less stressful …

A Suggested Packing List:

1. Quick dry clothing
2. Sandals that can be worn in water, or on a hike (strappy, hiking kind) or water shoes
3. Sun hat
4. Head bands
5. Waterproof cell phone protector
6. Reusable water bottle
7. Flip flops
8. Sunglasses
9. 2 swim suits
10. Bathing suit cover ups
11. Shorts you can easily move in
12. Day time knapsack/carry all bag
13. Spf and or spf approved clothing 220 to 110 plug adapters ( think Britain) for charging your phones/ipads and laptops
14. Carry on bag only for your airline travel. if you can, as opposed to larger suitcases .. … Dominica for the most part is a very casual island. You will not need any bling, dressy clothes or jewelry in order to enjoy local culture. -in each suite’s bathroom you will find: body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and a hair dryer, so no need to pack those items/ toiletries. We also include beach towels.
